Take one dumbbell. Squat it, snatch it, get up with it, swing it and thrust it. Swearing at it is optional.

A chance to find or improve on your 1 rep max Clean followed by some anaerobic endurance work. Performing sets on the minute gives you a great conditioning workout.

Good luck to all the CrossFitters taking part in the English Indoor Rowing Championships at the Manchester Velodrome this weekend.

Before tonight’s workout we took a little bit of extra time to run through various mobility drills aimed at improving everyone’s overhead position.
22nd January 2011 – The Extra Mile
The faster you ran the first part of today’s workout the more rest you got before the second part. We like to give you incentives to work hard!
21st January 2011 – Snatch
This evening’s classes were spent working on snatch technique and getting comfortable at the bottom of the overhead squat.
20th January 2011 – Fight Gone ‘Xtreme’
Tonight we welcomed Jimmy, Keith, Ryan, Chris, Callum, Carl, Joe and Jordan from Cobra Xtreme MMA for their first CrossFit workout. To give them a true taste of CrossFit we programmed a modified version of Fight Gone Bad (no brainer huh?).
