One of the great things about CrossFit is that getting better at CrossFit can give you all the motivation you need to keep coming back to the gym. Getting the next PB (Personal Best) in a lift or one of the named workouts is what drives us to push hard and keep improving.
If you want to take your training to the next level it is worth having something to work towards. Now that the CrossFit Games Open has finished there are a couple of events on the horizon to set your sights on.

on 30th July CrossFit Central Manchester are hosting the CrossFit UK Games Invitational. This will be a one day competition giving you chance to compete against other Crossfitters from around the UK. There will also be a BBQ and live coverage of the CrossFit Games finals in California.

On 20th August CrossFit3d are hosting the UK:SPS Northern Qualifier. This is a strongman style competition giving everyone a chance to try the kind of events you would see on ‘World’s Strongest Man’ .

We encourage all our members to enter these events. Not only will they push your training to new heights but you will find out just what you are capable of and have a great time in the process. Ask us at the gym if you are interested in taking part.
