The last workout before the Christmas break is traditionally a chance for a bit of fun with the training effect of the workout taking a back seat for once.

tonight we revisited one of my favourite workouts
Backwards Fran? Upside-down Fran? NARF? What ever you want to call it, this version of the famous benchmark took the physical intensity down a notch and stepped up the mental intensity. Before we did that we hit up a heavy triple on bench press. ‘Narf’ 9-15-21 Thrusters Pull ups
16 minutes of work, 3 minutes of rest and an accuracy focus on the wall balls. That sums up Saturday’s workout. If you didn’t hit your personal target for the wall ball you weren’t allowed to count the rep.
As heavy days go, the weights used tonight were pretty light, however, that doesn’t mean we went easy on anyone
A chance to spit polish your push jerk and split jerk tonight followed by a little couplet repeated every 30 seconds for 8 minutes.
One Bar Linda A modified version of CrossFit benchmark Linda that uses the same bar for all three movements. This is hard! Well done everyone for completing it with a minimum of whinging. 10-1 Deadlift Push Press Hang Squat Clean
