Ian, Heather and Chris with their medals
Yesterday we sent a team to the English Indoor Rowing Championships at the Manchester Velodrome. Chris, Ian and Heather all entered the 500m sprint in their respective age categories. Not only did all three achieve PBs, Heather knocking a massive 25 seconds off her previous best, but they also held their own against specialist rowers each getting a Bronze medal.
We’re really proud of you guys!
Also taking part were Jane and Gary Holgate from CrossFit 3D. They both rowed brilliantly and Jane got the Silver medal in her race. You need to be reading Jane’s blog Raising The Bar which features strong, inspirational women.
