Thanks to the lovely Lucy Goddard of Train Manchester for this recipe. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of or tried these before in my Paleo explorations.

Paleo Breakfast Idea – Boiled Egg & Soldiers
So when I’m struck by the Paleo breakfast muse it seems rude not to share it with the world. This breakfast has all the childhood comfort of boiled egg and toast soldiers but with added bacon, what’s not to love?
Guest Recipe: Turkey Satay Stir Fry
With grateful thanks to Tara Sanchez for this delicious recipe. If you’re strict Paleo/Primal we suggest you substitute Sunbutter for the peanut butter. Satay Turkey Stir Fry (serves 3-4 people) Ingredients 250ml coconut cream 4 heaped dessert spoons crunchy peanut butter* 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice 3-4 tablespoons of Wheat Free soy sauce (Tamari or [...]
Breakfast Smoothie
Getting enough protein at breakfast time can be tricky, especially with the daily rush to get to work or school. The temptation is to grab some toast, cereal or even go without.
If you can tolerate milk, this is a really easy smoothie that, if you prepare it before you go to bed, can be drunk in less time than it takes to make a slice of toast and will keep you full until lunch.
Paleo Recipe: Mince Pies
The time of year is approaching when we’re all going to find it tough to resist temptation and mince pies are a real weakness of mine. So I started the ‘Great Paleo Mince Pie Experiment’ which stripped of hyperbole means I read some recipe books, scoured the internet and got busy in the kitchen. The [...]
Zone and Primal Recipe: Lamb Tagine
Thanks to Chris’s mum for this delicious recipe. It uses lamb neck fillet so it’s economical and is great done in the slow cooker. It does contain chickpeas and a small amount of honey which makes it no go for those following a Paleo diet. This is a 16 block recipe
Zone Recipe: Tuna Pasta Bake
The image of starting blocks seems appropriate for this recipe (plus I’ve never taken a photo of this meal). It’s an ideal introduction to the Zone and the blocks that make up your meals. It’s also inexpensive, tasty and simple.
