For legendary strength coach Mark Rippetoe, the backsquat is so important and foundational to strength that it is simply the squat. All other varieties are the ones that should have a prefix.
Some strength volume work followed by a speed test finisher.

Back Squats were followed by a chance to channel Tigger and bounce!
With some rather sore legs going round after the Open workout we eased everyone back into training with some backsquats followed by optional prowler fun. It’s testament to how fun the prowler is that everyone opted to have a go.
